This year would be an unforgettable year for people all over the world due to the pandemic COVID 19. This has disrupted lives of all people like the way this world has never seen before. Pune City Tamil Sangam is no exception. We could not hold any event as all the auditoriums were closed due to the city lockdown. Difficult times makes people think of innovative alternatives. So we at PCTS decided to offer a web based events till the situation improves and the auditoriums are allowed to open.

So, we started working on various possible programs we could give and how it can be offered to the members such that they can view from their homes. Once we short listed possible events we started contacting renowned artists. While contacting various people Prof. Gnansambandam offered to, not only anchor the program as a naduvar but also to record, compose, edit and web cast it.

On Sunday 7th June 2020 at 6.15 pm we web cast the pattimnadram in a novel way for the first time. The high light of the pattimandram was, that Perasiriyar Gnanasambandam was the naduvar of the Pattimandram. Secondly all the speakers were all form Pune City Tamil Sangam. The topic was “ VAZKHAIEL MUNERUVATHARKKU PERITHUM THUNAI NERPATHU PANAMA ALLATHU PADIPPA?”

Though this was our first experiment and a bold step at that, we received an overwhelming appreciation for the event and some of them has been captured and reproduced here for your viewing

The pattimandram was very good. I enjoyed every speaker's point of view. They had all come well prepared. The moderator Mr. Gyanasambandam was excellent. His observations were to the point. Thank you for organising such an amazing program . I was so plesently surprised to hear every speaker. Each one of them had prepared so well . The debate was interesting as any that I have seen on television. In fact ,more, because we know all the speakers as our any professional speakers it was aazing how the program went off with out a hitch.
