Educational support

The Sangam has been giving financial support for education to the needy and poor children by paying their yearly fees. This is being done since last 12 years. It has given support to deserving poor children at S V S high School/Primary School, Khadki, Pune, managed by “The Tamilian Association, Khadki.

Due to Covid restrictions our efforts to help the needy was hampered . However when the same was relaxed , the present Committee (2021-2024) successfully mopped up Rs.95,000/-from members and non-members and donated to the S.V.S. School on 29.10.2021. This was greatly appreciated by the school authorities as it meant paying the full annual fees for 19 financially diadvantaged children besides clearing the arrears of the staff .
