Yet another picnic organised by Pune City Tamil Sangam at the beautiful Ajenkya lakeside resort with serine surroundings was a memorable experience. Situated between Panshet Lake and Varasgaon Lake and at 45 km form Pune gave an ideal setting for the picnic. The drive though long was a treat to the eyes.
The day started with poha and ildy for breakfast followed by games on the lush green lawns. The members enjoyed the games thoroughly. Games being out on the sun they followed it up by cooling themselves in the rain dance shaking their legs. The DJ made it so much fun even an elderly joined the dance.
Lunch was sumptuous and nicely topped with good mouth-watering gulab jamums. Afternoon fun games anchored by our Vice president L Sathiyanarayanan and our member Rajaram Sethturaman  was a great hit, particularly the game with irrelevant answers and the Tombola with the a twist. The game was spiced with unconventional prizes like a razor for a bald member, a packet of Maggie noodles for a forced bachelor and a kilo of onions for the lady.
The day ended with baggies with tea and a group photograph to take home.
