Comedy Show on 17.04.2022

For Sangam 17th. April, 2022 was an EVENTFUL day 'in more ways than one'. On that day it organised an evening of comedy show to which 2 eminent and erudite speakers , Prof. Gyanasambandam and Pulavar Ramalingam were the Chief Guests .The day marked not only the celebration of the beginning of a Tamil New Year but also of Sangam completing 20 years of existence and stepping into its 21st. year with a renewed vigour .

For that day the founder members were invited to participate. They graced the occasion with their presence. They were awarded with memento. The event also signalled the launch of a Logo for this year. The awardee who won the competition, Yogini Chandrababu, was honoured on the stage and given a cash prize .

Our Vice-President Dr. L. Satyanarainan launched an Annual Achievement Award, named after his father. Shri L. Lohidasan Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award was fittingly given as a beautiful Trophies to both Prof. Gyanasambandam and Pulavar Ramalingam . PCTS is proud to be associated with this noble cause.

Pulavar Ramalingam , and later, Prof. Gyanasambandam regaled the audience with a continuous pouring of wit and anecdotes that had the appreciative audience in splits with laughter . The hall was almost full with the listeners who gave a standing ovation to the speakers at the end of each session.

In short, this event was an outstanding success.
