BHARATHIAR VIZHA PTTIMANDRAM - 18TH Dec 2022

It has been a tradition of Pune City Tamil Sangam to remember Maha Kavi Bharathiar on his birth day every year; and celebrate it in an appropriate manner. This year we celebrated by having a Pattimandram on his thoughts. The title of the Pattimandram was பாரதியாரின் கவிதைகள் தெய்வீகமே / தெசியமே. இந்த பட்டிமன்றத்திற்கு நடுவர், முனைவர் ராமச்சந்திரன். He is a well known speaker on TV shows and a saught after moderator.

Three participants form PCTS and three form outside participated. Rajasri Nagarajan, Pandithurai and Mythily Krishnamurthy spoke in support of தெய்வீகமே while Bhuvana Venkat, Dr Sathiyanarayana and Sri Vidhya spoke in support of தெசியமே.

All the speakers are experienced and many of them have spoken in TV channels. Others are good speakers in Tamil. All of them debated excellently and the naduvar was pleasently surprised on the qualitly of talk and debate from Pune based Tamilians.

This was followed by songs from our Sangam members and dance by children of Kala Vandana a dance institute run by our member Ms Kalpana Balaji. All the songs and dances were based on Bharathiar’s kavithaigal.

Pune City Tamil Snagam thanks our guest speakers Ms Bhuvana Venkat and Ms Rajeshre Venkt form Mumbai and Sri Vidhya an engineering student form Pune.
