FUNDRAISING EVENT “BOLLYWOOD ONCE MORE”

On 16th March Pune City Tamil Sangam staged a fund raising event for Punekars and Tamil residents of Pune. The event was based on the theme “Bollywood Once More” A local troupe called Surabhi put up a grand show along with two Tamilnadu singers.

The Show was a super hit and everybody recalled old Hindi melodies and it was a floor tapping evening for the audience. The Tamil singers gave some beautiful numbers along with those songs which are in both in Hindi and Tamil. At the end of the evening most people wished if we could extend the show by another half an hour.

This event was basically organized so that the revenue raised can be used for the building fund. The Sangam as of today does not have a premise of its own and its assets and documents are stored in various managing committee member’s houses and member’s houses. We want to put these together in one place and use it as our office cum meeting place. With the help of generous members and donors we wish to raise a descent amount.
