Bharathiyar Viaha 2024

BHARATHIAR VIZHA - 15TH DECEMBER 2024 It is an annual celebration remembering Maha Kavi Bharathiar, a great Poet, a social reformer and a freedom fighter. This year we had invited Pulavar Shanmugavadevel, who is a well known humorous speaker. What is distinct about him is, he delivers his speech in a simple Tamil, spoken in manner that everyone can easily understand . His anecdotes and examples are picked up form day to day life and from his long years of service in a school.

The evening started with light snacks and filter coffee; members networking with each other. Thereafter the event started with "Thamil Thai Vazthu" followed by distribution of prizes to the winners of Navarathiri Golu competition. subsequently our secretary Dr Sathiyanarayanan gave a befitting introduction of Pulavar Sanmugavadivel. He spoke on New Authichudi .

The members enjoyed his speech which was liberally inter spread with humour. . Later the the event ended with singing of the national anthem.
