VISIT TO MAI BAL BHAVAN 25th March 2025

Mr V Radhakrishnan , treasurer and our President Arul Selvan visited a blind school run by a trust known as Mai Bal Bhavan started by a lady called Prathik Deshpande twenty years ago. Though she passed away few years ago her husband Madhukar Ingle is continuing the good work. The attached video will give more information about this trust. Pune City Tamil Sangam donated Rs 44000 to the trust for the welfare of the blind children.

What is note worthy about this school is, there are 4 girl children who are in the national blind football team. The school concentrates on all round development. They not only give formal education but also teach other skills like singing, sports, yoga etc.

It was a satisfying experience helping a deserving school who are need of funds.
